About

Vic Gedris
vic's picture Vic rides his bikes year-round, for transportation and for fun. He believes that most peoples' transportation needs can be met
with bicycles, public transit, and a bit of creativity. Vic is much
happier riding his bike into a headwind or through a snowstorm than
sitting around in front of a TV. However, his Linux sysadmin work and
hobbies keep him plunked down in front of a computer a little too much!
Margaret Hastings-James
Large Marge Large Marge was born in the 70's and has never had a drivers license. She made the switch from transit to cycle-commuting around the turn of the millennium. Since that time, she has volunteered with the Sierra Club's Car Free Day Campaign, The Metropass Affinity Plan (MAP), the Toronto Cycling Committee, Toronto Coalition for Active Transport (TCAT), Pedestrian Sunday Kensington, St Clair Right-of-way Initiative for Public Transit (SCRIPT), St. Clair Bicycle User Group (BUG), and has served 2 years on the Advisory Board of the Community Bicycle Network (CBN). LM enjoys fast rides and smooth talk.
Anthony Humphreys
anthony's picture Anthony lives in Etobicoke with his wife and two kids and all are fitted for bikes.
Darren Jenkins
darren's picture Darren enjoys a long suburban commute through tree lined
streets, and wonders why more people don't join him. Whenever the
opportunity arises, he likes to push himself and his old bike to the
limits.
Tanya Quinn
tanya Tanya aka Crazy Biker Chick takes the statement "You need a car for that" as a personal challenge. She can be found gleefully riding year-round everywhere around Toronto and beyond by bike, whether its with a cargo trailer hauling IKEA furniture, or a milk crate full of pansies. Cheap transport allows her to spend more time playing and less time working.
Martin Reis
Martino Martin Reis aka Tino is a life-long cyclist and visual artist. He enjoys bike touring with his partner Wendy and documenting bike culture in Toronto. You can catch up with Tino on the blog Bike Lane Diary.
Luke Siragusa
Luke's our new blogger. His bio will be up soon.
Herb van den Dool
herb's picture Herb bikes everywhere and loves coming up with ideas for how he can make cycling easier for himself and somehow this will help everyone else as well.
