We produce jackets that feature technical fabrics and can survive the elements.

They say they are in Toronto and that they sell jackets mainly for cyclists. You'll have to contact them directly to find out how to get them.

Their motto should be: "Our bikes are born beaters."

Our Beaters are inexpensive, practical and extremely comfortable to ride for everyday city life. The bikes were designed in Toronto and manufactured in the EU, to EU safety standards. They are brand new bikes. Please use it like a beater and take it everywhere.

Axis Gear makes custom performance and non-performance/casual apparel. If you want a custom bike jersey they're your people. Plus they're sweatshop-free and donate 1% to the David Suzuki Foundation.

Janet makes bike stencils and puts them all sorts of gear, including t-shirts, bags, paper.

Manuel Cappel has long built sturdy cargo bikes and trailers from recycled materials in his Toronto Island workshop for islanders. Manuel uses used bikes but new components to create strong bikes that can carry heavy loads. The bikes are cheaper than newer bikes with a price of about $2000 for a built bike (powdercoating extra). Give Manuel a call to arrange a visit to his shop to discuss requirements. It takes him about a month and a half to build.

Paul makes long john cargo bikes (as pictured) as well as trikes with a box in the front for kids, and larger cargo trikes.

This shop concentrates on repairing and building bikes. If you've got a cracked frame, need some new braze-ons, or need a wheel built, these are your guys.
