The Amazing Toronto Bike Tour
A 100 km ride through the ravines and streets of downtown Toronto, North York, Etobicoke, East York and Scarborough.
Free. (Donations accepted to support the Community Bicycle Network; support the effort to expand the bike tour in the future, and to recover the photocopying costs.)
This is the second such ride - the first was held last fall and was called the Toronto Joy Ride.
There are 100, 65 and 35 km loops:
35 km loop - almost entirely on trails. When we arrive at the bottom of High Park you take a left back towards City Hall.
65 km loop - Follow the route across North York and then go south to City Hall just before Yonge Street.
100 km loop - take in all the pre-amalgamation cities.

How is the traffic on this route?
I haven't done any long rides yet this year, so this would be a lot of fun. I am a bit concerned about the traffic near the 400 highways though. Any advice?
On closer inspection . . .
it doesn't look too bad. None of these streets seem to be too hairy for me, so I'll be attending weather permitting!
