Bikes+Transit.com is pleased to announce the first ever “twitterflickrfest”

From June 13 to July 13, adventurous GTA cyclists are encouraged to participate and help pave the way to making bicycle and transit travel around the Golden Horseshoe a more popular past time, and permanent green mode of transportation. Except during rush hour!

Visit B+T.com to learn about your tweets' and photos' celebrity judging panel (including a leader of a major metropolis and two Giller Prize nominees) and to get a peek at Bikes+Transit.com's 2009 cycling routes.

Also, starting May 13, all bikes and transit pioneers will be able to purchase a packet of five cycling maps covering: Durham, Toronto, Burlington, Hamilton and West Niagara. Profits from map sales will go to the Ontario Lung Association.
