Cycling for everyone - designing cities for young and old: John Pucher

John Pucher, professor of planning at Rutgers University, gave this talk a couple years ago. It's always enlightening to talk to the experts.

Pucher explains how cities in Denmark, Holland and Germany have managed to dramatically increase the cycling share. It wasn't always that way - cycling dropped just as dramatically from the 50s to the 70s. Only during the 70s oil crisis were there a number of key policies that helped to propel cycling.
