Something in the spring with a route past City Councillors homes. Either as a loose "Fondo" or an all day event. Suggestions please!!!

A ride through a Councillor's Ward would be a more sound strategy. Don't expect a politician to champion a cause unless their constituents embrace it first. Otherwise t's like trying to wind a clock by turning the hands.
I wonder if it would be better to encourage every cyclist and TTC user to drive to work on one day. We could put stickers on the cars for the drivers stuck in the resulting traffic jams to see telling them that we wouldn't be in their way if we were riding instead!. Main problem with this idea is that it would be hard for many of us to get a car for the day, also it would look bad if we didn't have a big enough turn out to cause gridlock. The advantage is that drivers don't have another excuse to curse cyclists for getting in their way - we'd all be motorists for the day :^)
