Rear kids carrier recommendations?
We are about to graduate from the front carrier (an iBert Safe-T-Seat which we all love) to a rear carrier for our 3-year-old. Ideally we'd like something which can easily and quickly be switched between two bikes. Friends of ours have one which I can only find for sale in the UK.
Any suggestions? Also interested in hearing what things you like/don't like about any carrier you are using.
Thanks for any help!
Peter

I'd reccomend a german made seat such as the Romer line by Britax. There is a clamp that attaches to the bike frame, below the seat post, and long metal rods that attach the child seat to the clamp. there is a quick release for removing the seats, it takes about 2.0 seconds, and if you get a second clamp you can quickly pop the seat into a second bike. They are not available in canada, but occasionaly one shows up used on craig's list.
good luck.
Thanks for the tip AJ. I've also discovered the Co-Pilot Limo which is supposed to be detachable in less than 30-seconds from a rack that they supply. It's expensive but available locally.
