Route to Scarborough Town Center?
I wonder what the best way to get from downtown to Scarborough Town Center is. (on a Friday night FWIW) I'm not afraid of busy roads, but I prefer quieter where possible. Not sure which arterials are wider than others, as I prefer a wide curb lane when traffic is relatively fast moving. (where in downtown I would just take the lane, Scarberia is faster and less tolerant)
Anybody have any favourite roads to get there?

I'd recommend taking the subway/Scarborugh LRT which drops you directly there, especially since it's night time.
But I suspect you're perverse and see this as a challenge, that's cool. :)
If so, I would go the same way that I would drive - take Danforth Ave. to Danforth Rd which turns into McCowan which takes you all the way.
In the daytime, you could take Pharmacy up to the path north of Eglinton which will take you across to Midland, then head up to Progress and then across.
I agree there is really no good=safe way to cycle there. But McCowan north from Eglinton to the Town Centre has some pretty pushy traffic and I wouldn't take it.
Depending on where you are coming from, a better way may be up Kingston Rd (reached via the Dundas St bike path) and turn north on Brimley. Not ideal at night, but I cycle there during the day and it's manageable. Turn off Brimley just after you passed under the LRT (north of Ellesmere) to enter the shopping mall via the "back door".
A word on Progress Ave: between Midland and McCowan, there is some heavy-truck traffic and some pushy cars. Avoid that area.
DownTown - > Danforth->Warden->Eglinton(The right lane is shared lane by bus and Taxi and Bicycle)->Bellemy->Progress>Scarborough TC
This is the way that you can ride bicycle with less traffic. But it will take a liitle more time.
