Portent of Bikeshare? City to Lease or Rent Ski Hills

Remember the discussion we were having about bikeshare programs? Well, I had mentioned the point about the City's two ski/snowboard hills, Earl Bales and Centennial as examples of infrastructure that exists but is underutilized by Torontonians.

Lo and behold, today we see an article in the media, http://bit.ly/aU1jsX and the City is considering cutting costs by leasing or renting its two ski hills to third party operators. Huh. Seems like writing on the wall if I ever saw it.
