Post and Ring clear cutting on Roncesvalles

Ummm .. no sign of notices attached to bicycles. It appears a contractor to the city cut post and rings with bicycles attached on Roncesvalles recently.

The bicycle with post and ring attached laying in the construction zone in the middle of the street is particularly nauseating.
I did have the opportunity to speak with a city staffer inspecting the sewer connections and he seemed quite unconcerned. His sentiment seemed to be he considered these for all intents and purposes abandoned.
