Spectacular New Bike Lanes Open On Moore Avenue

Hi all,

Great news from Ward 26, where new bike lanes on a freshly rebuilt section of Moore Avenue are now open, and are an absolute joy to ride. This section of roadway had been in dire need of repairs, and moreover, serious utility work, that would have wreaked havoc on the road and neighbourhood. Thankfully, cooperation at different levels of the City between Staff, utilities, and contractors, enabled this project to be completed on time in a way that has rarely been seen in recent Toronto construction history.

Many kudos and congratulations to the City of Toronto for this new piece of critical cycling infrastructure, and here's hoping folks from around and downtown take the opportunity to ride out to the suburbs and try this amazing stretch of fresh tarmac that connects Moore Ravine with the Belt Line Trail, and Rosedale with Leaside.
