Advice for a cycling computer

Hello,

I am interested in finding a cycling computer that will keep track of more than 1000 kilometres. I got the cheap model at MEC this spring. I was quite happy with it, as it was keeping me active (I had a numerical incentive to bike 20 km / day)

An annoying thing happened though. Once I got to 1000 km, it started flashing 888.8 km mi / h. So not only did it not keep counting, it didn't even roll over to 0. It even reset my wheel size setting! Some day I hope to grow as a person to the point where something like this doesn't work it's way under my skin, but in the meantime, I would like a better cycling computer.

Does anyone know of one that continues to record distance over 1000 km? If not, do any at least reset to 0 km at this distance?

I don't need one of those fancy deals with heart rate, cadence, Julian calendar and universal currency converter. Current speed and total distance are fine.
