Ride

An invitation to ride with Canada's top ranked endurance cyclist, Peter Oyler

in

Hello everyone - Janet Bannister, Paul Tepsich and I (David Toyne) along with friends and fans of Peter Oyler, are organizing this ride to help Peter raise funds to support his quest for a SUB9/09 winning finish at the Race Across America (RAAM) this June.

Our "Spring Classic" ride will start from Elgin Mills and continue to Lake Simcoe where we will be met by a small band of barbeque chefs laying on some sound protein and carb's. Grilled chicken, pasta salads, banana's and lots of Eload will be served up to power your return home.

Peter has a big following, understandably. He is such a great guy! Because of this, two groups will go out from Elgin Mills; one group will be targeting a faster speed (approx 30 + kph) and cover more distance, while the second will aim to arrive at Lake Simcoe simultaneously, managing a slower route (no one will be left behind!).

Peter will ride up with one group and back with the other so everyone will have a chance to speak with him and his crew about RAAM 07, his training for 09 and to wish him well in his quest for a SUB9/09 winning finish.

A chase car will support both groups with extra fluids, clothing storage, repair assistance, photography, etc.

Sign up at www.peteroyler.com and mark this important date in your calendar.

$100 is all it takes to participate in this great day and support a Canadian cycling hero, get a great ride, a nutritious meal and assorted other goodies.
Janet, Paul and David.
