Having cycled in Toronto for more than twenty years now, I eventually gave up my car and bicycle full-time now as a proud car-free father. I have even become somewhat of an unaffiliated vocal advocate of cycling and cycling infrastructure for the city. I own three bikes---each for different purposes and have instilled a strong affection for bicycles in my son, hopefully encouraging another car-free person when he hits driving age and decides not to get one.
