Love the independence and the way you can move through a city quickly without being subject to the limitations and size of a car. Ride through school yards, parks, ravines, and pass by that disgusting, noisy, polluting traffic jam, feel the wind in your hair and get excercise at the same time. Take note of the individual psychogeography of each different residential neighbourhood as you pass by at 15km/h instead of in a car along the advertising-overloaded cyclist-unfriendly major roads.
