I Bike Toronto 1976

During a recent visit to the Bike Pirates Geoff showed me this old 1976 Bike Route Announcement. Amazing.
As far as I know it was one of Toronto's first bike routes and even a quite extensive north-south corridor. Over 30 years later it's still a key bike lane/route in the Toronto and if you read the text on the announcement, it speaks volumes for how far we have come in terms of making Toronto a bicycle friendly city.

Wow!

So does that make my presentation on branding and outreach to the TCAC redundant, or Vuja De? We've seen this before!?!? So this means history does repeat itself, and Cycling in Toronto once did have a logo!?!? wow...
I feel frickin' prescient...or nostalgic...or both...!

Love the message this sends...

Enjoy the ride

Seems that attitudes haven't improved?

Skim over this.

It is the comment section that is jaw dropping.
