Update: Toronto Cyclists Union

  1. Home

Sat, 11/17/2007 - 17:50 by vic

Two related things happened today:

  1. The Globe & Mail ran a story titled Grow up, cyclists.
  2. The Toronto Cyclists Union website was launched.

Dave Meslin (aka "Mez"), the founder and project coordinator for the Cyclists Union was one of the main focal points of the Globe article. As nice as it is to get press about cycling issues in the city, and get the word out about the new Cyclists Union that it's the works, this article got some major facts wrong and seemed to take a bit of a divisive and inflammatory tone.

Fortunately, Dave is on the case and has already written a rebuttal over at Spacing Toronto. Check it out.
